Alejandro Tabilo has etched his name in the annals of tennis history by capturing his maiden ATP Tour title at the Auckland Open. The 24-year-old Chilean overcame a spirited challenge from Frenchman Ugo Humbert in the final, triumphing 6-3, 6-4.

Tabilo's victory marks a significant milestone for both his personal career and Chilean tennis. He becomes the first Chilean player to win an ATP title since Nicolas Massu in 2009 and the first to win in Auckland since Marcelo Ríos in 1998. Tabilo's triumph also elevates him to a career-high ranking of 64th in the ATP world rankings.
