Check Out the Evolution of the Vancouver Canucks Uniforms on Hockey Jersey
From the Flying Skate to the Orca
The Vancouver Canucks have had a number of different uniforms over the years, each one reflecting the team's history and identity. The original Canucks uniform, worn from 1970 to 1978, was a simple blue and green design with a flying skate logo on the chest. In 1978, the team changed to a more traditional black, red, and yellow uniform with a stylized "V" logo on the chest. This uniform was worn until 1997, when the team switched to a new blue and green uniform with an orca logo on the chest. The orca logo has been the Canucks' primary logo ever since, and it has been featured on a number of different uniforms over the years. The current Canucks uniform, which was introduced in 2019, is a blue and green design with an updated orca logo on the chest. The uniform also features a number of other design elements that pay homage to the team's history, including a flying skate logo on the shoulders and a "V" logo on the hem of the jersey.
