Intel's Windows 7 and Kabylake Platform Compatibility

ACPI Driver Support

This package contains the ACPI Driver necessary for Windows Operating Systems on Kabylake platform products. Intel recommends that only Skylake processors be used with Windows 7.

Windows 7 Compatibility

32-bit Systems

Unfortunately, there is no 32-bit Windows 7 driver available for the ACPIMSFT0101 device.

64-bit Systems

For 64-bit Windows 7 installations, a hotfix is required. You can download and install this hotfix, which is specifically designed for the ACPIMSFT0101 device on 64-bit Windows 7 systems.

Installation Instructions

To install the ACPI Driver and hotfix:

1. Download the Microsoft hotfix for the ACPIMSFT0101 device.
2. Extract the hotfix to a temporary location.
3. Run the hotfix executable to install the driver.
4. Restart your computer.

Note: If you are experiencing issues with AMD HDMI audio, refer to the following instructions:

1. Go to Start > Settings > Update & Security > Windows Security.
2. Under "Security processor," select "Security processor details."
3. Select "Security processor troubleshooting."
4. Enter your device's model number in the search bar.
5. Once you have identified your device, download and install the latest firmware update.
